  • We’ll be staying at two small Fijian-owned eco-resorts in the Yasawa Islands. These resorts support local villagers by providing employment opportunities, enabling them to preserve their ancestral way of life without emigrating. Tourism revenue funds marine conservation and research, with in-house marine biologists dedicated to protecting coral reefs and marine life. Expect some of the most pristine beaches and healthiest coral reefs you’ve ever seen..

The Bula accommodations are not typical 5-star resorts but charming beachfront bungalows offering a glamping experience. They feature fully enclosed spaces, comfortable beds, fans, and ensuite bathrooms with showers for a cozy and relaxed stay. They will not have AC, but it is not needed. Temps will be mid 80’sF during the day and low 70’sF at night, with a nice island breeze and a fan above bed.

You can choose between two options: the Private Bula, ideal for couples or pairs traveling together, and the Dorm Bula, perfect for solo adventurers or budget-conscious travelers.(see pics below)

Follow my instagram @Farouttraveltours or email me for pics.

  • Breakfast, Lunch, & Dinner is included through the tour. Breakfast will be a buffet spread style. Lunch will have the option to order from 3-4 options. Day 1 only includes lunch & dinner. Day 7 only includes breakfast & lunch.

  • Cost in USD per person. Private is based on two travelers paying to share accommodation.

Tipping is not expected in Fiji.

$2000 USD is almost what one night in an Overwater Villa in Fiji costs :)

Visa/Passport: No visa needed for US citizens. Passport must have 6 months validity.

Safety: Fiji is a very safe destination and our resorts have been hosting tour companies for decades. However, we will be in the middle of the South Pacific so be mindful of any serious health issues because there usually is just one local village doctor on these remote islands. Travel insurance is required.

Weather: May is during dry season, is ideal for Manta-Ray sightings, & avoids peak Summer tourism season. Weather ranges from mid 80’sF during day to low 70’s at night.

Comfort: You will need to be mentally prepared to get a little out of your comfort zone and must be a down to earth traveler. This is not gonna be a 5 star resort and everything operates on island time. However, this tour will be plenty comfortable.

Food: All meals will be made with local ingredients at the resorts. Plenty of safe drinking water available and we accommodate any dietary restrictions.
